Luke Cage takes on the Phantom of 42nd Street in Hero for Hire #4, an early adventure from Marvel's original Power Man series. Offered in Very Fine- (VF-) condition, this is an attractive Bronze Age issue from the first year of Luke Cage's solo title.
Written by Archie Goodwin with art by George Tuska, #4 delivers the street-level action and gritty New York atmosphere that helped distinguish Luke Cage from Marvel's other heroes. An appealing early issue featuring the character who would eventually become one half of the legendary Heroes for Hire partnership.
Whether you're building an early Luke Cage run, collecting Bronze Age Marvel heroes, or chasing the original Power Man adventures, #4 belongs in the box.
