Gideon Mace makes his first appearance in Hero for Hire #3, bringing a dangerous new adversary into Luke Cage's world. Offered in Very Fine (VF) condition, this is a sharp early Bronze Age issue featuring a classic Billy Graham cover.
Written by Archie Goodwin with art by George Tuska and Billy Graham, #3 pits Luke Cage against a rogue military commander with a deadly weapon in place of his hand. Just the third issue of Cage's original solo series, it's an early character key from the beginnings of Marvel's Power Man legacy.
Whether you're building an early Luke Cage run, collecting first appearances, or chasing classic Bronze Age Marvel heroes, #3 belongs in the box.
