The Lizard returns in Amazing Spider-Man #44, marking the villain’s second appearance following his debut in #6. Offered in Fine (FN) condition, this is an early Silver Age Spidey with real significance for Lizard collectors.
Written by Stan Lee with art by John Romita Sr., #44 kicks off a memorable Lizard storyline and comes from the early stretch of Romita’s defining run on Amazing Spider-Man.
Whether you're building an early ASM run, collecting classic Spider-Man villains, or hunting early Lizard appearances, #44 is a strong book for the box.
Condition notes (see photos):
- Estimated FN (5.5-6.0)
- Strong color and black inks, tanning of whites, overall patina
- Tight spine with a few breaking ticks
- Crease runs through middle of front cover
